Steve has been married to Anna his wife, for 30 years. Their romance is the fruit of finding themselves working together as co-teachers of a Japanese Homestay program for a whole summer. They have homeschooled their five children, 4 of whom have graduated. Steve has taught math and science in Christian and public schools for 26 years, 5 of which was at Living Waters Christian School, a parent co-op school he and Anna began in So. California. He holds credentials in both Science and Math in Oregon. He also holds a Masters in Education. In addition he has taught science and math courses for home school students for the last 10 years.
Steve loves exploring the amazing wonders of God’s creation. A big kid at heart, he likes blowing things up and getting a little crazy to help others get excited about science.
He also has a BA in Economics from San Diego State, and an MA in Pastoral Studies from Haggard School of Theology, Azusa Pacific University. One of his hobbies is taking his family and others on outdoor adventures, including rafting, hiking, backpacking and camping trips.
